Book Discussion

Talk About Books

The adult book discussion was started in March 1999. The original nine members met at a Readers of Romance and Other Book Lovers Tea and decided to get together monthly to discuss books. They quickly chose the first book, Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom and have held monthly meetings since. There are currently 15 members, four of which are from the original nine, who read the chosen books each month and come to the monthly discussion. All the members are involved in making suggestions and deciding on the title to read for the following month. The group has read fiction and nonfiction titles, and have had some rather spirited discussions. The group will be celebrating its eighth anniversary on March 15, 2007. For information on joining the group, please contact the library at 920-699-3741.
