View Early Literacy Classes Calendar

Early Literacy Classes, for children ages 3-6, are offered throughout the year at the Johnson Creek Public Library. Advanced registration is preferred. Please contact the library at 920-699-3741 for information. Parents wishing to register should call the library at 920-699-3741.

Summer Library Program

Area children, ages three and up through those just having completed eighth grade, are invited to participate in the annual summer library program. Participants will each receive a reading card and can earn a variety of incentives by keeping track of the reading they have completed. Special events such as a magic show will be offered throughout the summer. Registration information and a schedule of events are available at the Johnson Creek Public Library at the end of May.


View Book Discussion Group Calendar

Meets regularly, day and time varies. A reading list is established each year with titles suggested by members and library staff. For information about joining the group, please contact the library at 920-699-3741 or or jcreekpl@mwfls.org.


View Summer Crafts Calendar

Children who have completed first grade and higher are invited to participate. Register by calling the library at 920-699-3741. Advanced registration is preferred. Once the summer library program registration process has begun, children and parents may start to register for the different craft sessions


View Toddler Time Calendar

Area children, ages one and two years old, are invited to participate in the Johnson Creek Public Library's Toddler Story Time. In Toddler Time, children listen to familiar stories; learn favorite action rhymes such as "I'm a Little Teapot" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and play simple games. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. If the parent has two children eligible for the toddler time sessions, a second adult is not necessary. Advance registration is preferred. Interested parents and childcare providers should call the library at 920-699-3741 for more information.


View Busy Fingers! Calendar

If you like to knit, crochet or do other crafts, this group is for you! Established in September of 2007, the group meets monthly at 6:30 p.m., although the dates vary. Bring your latest project! Currently, there are twelve women who attend on a regular basis.


View LEGOs Calendar

Children, who have completed kindergarten and higher, are invited to participate in the (almost!) weekly LEGO activities during the summer. Each week participants will work in small groups to create buildings and vehicles using that week's theme as a guide.


View Building Buddies Calendar

Building Buddies, for children ages 3-6, offers children the opportunity to develop their imagination and language skills as they create different structures with blocks; cardboard; masking tape; plastic cups; and other recycled items. Counting; color identification; cause and effect; are just a few of the concepts involved.
