All Programs

Preschool Story Hour
Preschool Story Hour, for children ages 3-6 is offered weekly throughout the year. Preschool Story Hour provides children the opportunity to listen to stories; learn finger plays and songs; and do simple crafts, all in a small group setting. A schedule of events, with the different weekly themes and planned activities, is available at the library's circulation desk. Parents wishing to register should call the library at 920-699-3741.

Summer Library Program
Area children, ages three and up through those just having completed eighth grade, are invited to participate in the annual summer library program. Participants will each receive a reading folder and can earn a variety of incentives by keeping track of the reading they have completed. Special events such as a magic show will be offered weekly until the end of July. Registration information and a schedule of events are available at the Johnson Creek Public Library the end of May.

Book Discussion Group
Meets regularly, day and time varies. There are about a dozen people who are currently in the group, who read the chosen book and come to the discussions. Members are involved in making suggestions and deciding on the title to read for the following meeting. The group has read both fiction and nonfiction titles and has had several spirited discussions. Toddler Story Time
Children, ages one and two and their parents listen to familiar stories; learn favorite action rhymes; and sing familiar songs. Toddler Story Time meets for five or six weeks at a time during the spring; summer; fall; and winter. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Childcare for older children will be provided when possible. Advance registration is preferred. For further information, contact the library at 920-699-3741.

Busy Fingers!
If you like to knit, crochet or do other crafts, this group is for you! Established in September of 2007, the group meets monthly at 6:30 p.m., although the dates vary. Bring your latest project! Currently, there are twelve women who attend on a regular basis.

The Johnson Creek Public Library offers fun and educational programs for children. Toddler Time invites children ages one and two and their caregivers to listen to familiar stories, recite favorite action rhymes, and play simple games.

The Johnson Creek Public Library offers fun and educational programs for adults. Our Summer Library Program invites adults and high school students to participate in the Johnson Creek Public Library's annual summer library adult reading program, which is held in June and July of each year. If you like to knit, crochet or do other crafts, Busy Fingers is for you! If you like to read, ask about our Book Discussion Group, which involves readers in both fiction and nonfiction titles.
