The Johnson Creek Public Library's fall session of Early Literacy Class (formerly called Preschool Story Hour) is offered two times a week, beginning September 15. Area children, ages three through six, are invited to participate in either the Friday morning story hour or the Friday afternoon story hour. The Friday morning session will be held from 10:00-10:45 a.m. The Friday afternoon story hour will meet from 1:00-1:45 p.m. Advance registration is preferred. Early Literacy Class offers children the opportunity to listen to stories; learn finger plays and songs; and do simple crafts, all in a small group setting. Parents wishing to register their children should stop in at the library to complete the registration card.
