Parents--have you signed up your child for "1000 Books Before Kindergarten"?
Interested parents should stop in at the Johnson Creek Public Library to register their child. Each child will receive a reading log where parents can keep track of books shared together. After reading and recording 25 titles, parents are asked to bring in their log sheet and they will receive a plastic book bag. Other rewards will include stickers and free books. Upon completion of reading 1,000 books, children will receive a t-shirt; certificate of achievement and have their photograph taken.
